From explosive scorers to game-saving defenders, Mississippi high school soccer is filled with elite talent. The 2025 season produced some of the most dominant performances we’ve seen in years. Whether it’s racking up goals, anchoring defenses, or shining under the spotlight, these 10 standout players have left their mark.
1. Kyndra Quinn, Forward, Brookhaven Academy
Kyndra Quinn was the top offensive force in Mississippi. She scored 45 goals. Added 11 assists. Finished with 101 points, more than double the next closest player. She led Brookhaven Academy’s high-powered attack. A scorer and a creator. Nobody was more dangerous in front of goal.
2. Adi Holcomb, Forward/Midfielder, Loyd Star
Adi Holcomb is one of the most well-known names in the state. She scored 24 goals. Dished out 11 assists. Won a statewide Player of the Week poll with over 56 percent of the vote. She made the Daily Leader All-Area team. Fans love her. Coaches trust her. She’s elite.
3. Amina Rozelle, Forward, McComb
Amina Rozelle makes noise with monster games. She scored five goals in a match. Twice. Her speed and finishing power make her unstoppable when she’s on. McComb has a true game-changer in Rozelle.
4. Hannah Kate Winstead, Forward/Midfielder, Enterprise
Winstead does it all. In one match, she scored three goals and had two assists. She can create and finish. She’s half of the best one-two combo in the state. Enterprise leans on her every game.
5. Eliza Smith, Forward, Brookhaven
Eliza Smith is proof that public school programs have stars too. She scored 26 goals in 19 games. Named MVP of her team. Only a sophomore. She also made the All-Area team. Eliza is just getting started.
6. Katelyn Hilario, Forward, Hernando
Playing in 7A means facing top competition. Katelyn Hilario delivers. She scored three goals in one week against elite teams. Two against Southaven. One against DeSoto Central. She shines in pressure moments.
7. Camille Calcote, Forward, Brookhaven Academy
On most teams, Calcote would be the star. At Brookhaven Academy, she’s the second option and still ranked second statewide in production. She finished with 19 goals and 10 assists. She’s skilled, smart, and consistent.
8. Keagan Hester, Midfielder, Enterprise
Hester is the setup artist. In one week, she scored two goals and had three assists. She creates chances every game. The connection between her and Winstead drives Enterprise’s offense.
9. Maddie Henning, Defender, Brookhaven
Defense matters. Maddie Henning locks down the back line. She covers the top offensive threats every game. A sophomore with toughness and instincts beyond her age. Coaches call her the cornerstone of the defense.
10. Samantha Reed, Goalkeeper, Loyd Star
Samantha Reed is a wall in the net. She made 78 saves and allowed just 22 goals across 1,180 minutes. Only a sophomore. Her calm presence lets Loyd Star play with confidence. She’s made the All-Area team more than once.
