While much of the attention often goes to award-winners and statistical leaders, the Class of 2026 boasts a deep and talented group of athletes poised for breakout senior seasons. These players are already on the radar of college programs and are positioned to make major impacts in their final high school campaigns.

Mary Olivia Barnes (5’10” OPP/MB, Lewisburg)

Barnes stands out as the only player in the class with a confirmed college commitment, having verbally pledged to the University of Texas–Tyler. That commitment highlights her talent and appeal to college coaches. She contributed to Lewisburg’s 2024 7A state championship — the highest classification in Mississippi — and posted impressive recruiting profile stats, including 74 profile views and 143 video views from coaches. Her size, experience, and early commitment make her one of the top prospects in the state.

Aubrey Dale (5’8″ OH, Brandon)

One of the state’s most efficient and productive outside hitters, Dale racked up 310 kills while hitting .304 during her junior season — ranking 18th in Mississippi. A six-rotation player, she added 219 digs and earned multiple “Player of the Game” honors. Dale is a proven offensive leader for Brandon, working in sync with setter Mia Williams to power their playoff run.

Anna Hoffmayer (6’0″ MH/RH, Ocean Springs)

With arguably the most projectable frame in the class, Hoffmayer brings elite size and top-tier efficiency to the court. Her .416 hitting percentage ranked fifth in the state, and she was a key piece for the 7A state runner-up. Combined with her club experience at Lower Alabama Volleyball Club, she’s firmly on the radar for high-level collegiate programs.

Liza Feltenstein (5’8″ OP/OH, Oxford)

A dynamic, versatile hitter, Feltenstein has consistently delivered for a strong Oxford program. Her highlights include earning kills against top-tier teams like Brandon and state champion Lafayette, showing she can produce in high-pressure matchups. She’s a battle-tested competitor with upside.

Lily Trosclair (S, Gulfport)

Trosclair ran the offense for a Gulfport team featuring 7A Miss Volleyball winner Izzi Barnes. She ranked fifth in the state with 977 assists, proving her ability to command a fast-paced, high-level attack. Her consistency and court leadership make her one of the top setters in her class.

Aubrey Easley (5’11” MH/OH, Purvis)

Easley is a multi-sport athlete with tremendous upside in volleyball. Standing at 5’11”, she helped lead Purvis to the 2024 Class 4A state championship. While much of her statistical success comes from basketball, her athleticism, physical presence, and championship pedigree signal huge potential on the volleyball court.

Mia Williams (5’6″ S, Brandon)

Williams helped guide Brandon deep into the 7A playoffs with 362 assists (4.7 per set) and 158 digs. She demonstrated strong decision-making and timing, especially in her connection with standout hitter Aubrey Dale. Her leadership and court vision elevated Brandon’s offensive flow all season.

Lizah Holland (5’6″ DS/L, Lafayette)

A defensive anchor for back-to-back 5A state championships, Holland brought leadership and poise to a retooled Lafayette roster. As one of just two returning starters, she helped stabilize the floor with her elite defensive play and six-rotation reliability. Her championship experience is unmatched.

River Schmidt (5’3″ L, Ocean Springs)

Schmidt was a standout for the 7A state runner-up, bringing relentless energy and composure to Ocean Springs’ back row. She recorded 19 digs in both the state final and a key match against D’Iberville, earning multiple “Player of the Game” awards. Her consistent high-level play makes her one of the top liberos in the class.
