NEMS360: National honor for Booneville’s Drewry

Booneville High School’s Jim Drewry has been a football coach for a long time – 50 years, to be exact.

He has won three state titles and 343 games, with coaching stints at Booneville, Kossuth and Tishomingo County.

He will become the winningest high school coach in Mississippi if his Booneville team beats Marshall in Friday’s MHSAA Class 3A first-round playoff game.
