Clarion Ledger: Eulls’ story to air on ESPN’s Outside the Lines

Kaleb Eulls, the high school football star who disarmed a gun-toting student on a Yazoo County school bus last month, is the subject of a special report that will be broadcast Friday by ESPN radio and then on Sunday on ESPN’s Outside the Lines, a television news program.

Titled Courage under Fire, the report chronicles the action taken by Eulls, a quarterback and linebacker for Yazoo County, when a student pulled a handgun from her backpack on the morning of Sept. 1 and threatened to shoot fellow students.

Eulls tackled the girl and wrestled the gun away from her. No shots were fired.

Eulls’ story will be told during Jeremy Schaap’s The Sporting Life radio show at 9 p.m. on Friday on ESPN Radio.

The television portion will air at 8 a.m. on Sunday on ESPN.
