Clarion Ledger: Football part of healing process for McNair Jr.

The father would have been watching the son play the first game of his senior season this Friday night.

You know he would have been there, just like he was for every game last fall, watching from the sideline.

But tragedy struck in July, so on an August day last week it was the son admiring the father.

  1. Air was always one of my favorites. He was one of the finest ball players ever from Mississippi IMHO.

    I never watched him play during his college years, but I was privileged to be able to see some of his Titan games up in Nashville over the years. He will be missed…
