Like the last four, but Tupelo and Nettleton have a regular season game too, so that’s kind of watered down. Ingomar and Myrtle could make their games interesting,

  2. Adam Gore Says:

I agree. It’s kind of like Bruce and Calhoun City – they will be playing each other for the third time this season Friday night.

As for Ingomar, it depends on which team shows up.

  3. Rodney Bryant Says:

Ripley will make Ingomar look like a junior high school!

  4. Fantasy Says:

From what I gather, Tupelo had to drop the Nettleton regular season finale game because of MHSAA cut backs. Why THAT game, I don’t know. But still, a county rivalry at an event like this is just stupid. And on top of that, they’re playing at 3:30. U’ve got to be kidding me. It should be right before the last game.

  5. Rodney Bryant Says:

You would have made a good woman fantasy….You love to complain..

  6. Rebel21 Says:

Tupelo and Nettleton do not play any other time this year. This game was requested. The reason they are playing @ 3:30 is because if they played the last game then there fans might not be able to get in the gym. The gym is usually packed well before then and they have to lock the doors until people leave.

  7. Adam Gore Says:

Well in that case… that changes my opinion.

Last time Tupelo and Nettleton played each other at the Hotbed – it was a great game. If I’m not mistaken (which I probably am) Nettleton came from behind in the final mins of the game to get the win over Tupelo?
