The Ingomar Lady Falcons improved to 5-2 overall, but more importantly picked up their first region win of the season in a 16-1 victory in four innings over the Okolona Lady Chieftains.
Ingomar got things started with an inside-the-park home run from Brittany Edwards followed by a solo home run to left by Natalie Frenn. Sixteen hits and thirteen runs later Marti Wray singled to left to score Courtney Thompson to give the Lady Falcons a fifteen run lead to invoke the mercy rule in the bottom of the fourth.
Okolona scored in the top of the fourth when Quindella Ford doubled to center to score Hattie Head.
